Pro Wrestling

Read the review here.

“Choosing one of six wrestlers (Fighter Hayabusa, Star Man, Kin Corn Karn, Giant Panther, The Amazon, or King Slender), the one-player mode consisted of a tournament where the player must defeat all the other characters in a row. Losing a match brings up the Game Over screen, whereas winning displays the infamous “WINNER IS YOU” screen.”

This game is not as good as you remember it.

One Response to “ Pro Wrestling ”

  1. I actually think this game is still fun to play, and the best wrestling game on NES, which isn’t saying much. At least that’s how the heart votes, the brain says Tecmo World Wrestling. The matches do get repetitive but there are plenty of move-sets. Starman with his drop kicks and Amazon with his head biting were my go-to wrestlers. I agree the game looks chunky, but it has a simplistic charm to it. Other than Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Kid Icarus in the early NES days, every Nintendo published title looked generic.

I’d love to see a remake of this game, with a larger roster of wrestlers, and more head bitin’.
