It is old, oft-repeated news that there were a great many terrible license-type games on the NES console. However, if I had to pick one example as an exception, a game based on a popular license that was actually very good, this would be my choice. Is it the best? I am not sure, and I am unsure that anyone could truly, justifiably pick one. But is it a definitive exceptional example? Yes.
