“Firing the machine gun sounds nothing like a machine gun. The horrible departure from a gunshot noise is so distracting that no other effects or tracks are worth mentioning and analyzing. The machine gun firing effect is terrible.”

I hated this game as a kid. Nowadays, I respect it for its singular ability to really hone in on honing in (I am not sure how to word it — this unique phenomenon where it is so generic that is unique, and so blandly designed that it is tightly developed), and for the challenge, but cannot imagine how this can be considered a great game, other than perhaps refining the “secret agent” feel with duck-and-cover firing mechanics.
